"The 7-Series is BMW's flagship luxury sedan, offered in regular and extended wheelbase versions, powered by either a 4.8-liter V8 engine or a 6.0-liter V12 engine. The fourth-generation 7-Series debuted in 2002 with controversial new styling and new features including iDrive, making it the most high-tech vehicle ever to be offered by BMW when it was introduced. The 7-Series was first introduced to the U.S. in 1986 and the fourth-generation 7-Series has proven to also be the most successful 7-Series ever. After significant design changes, the 2007 BMW 7-Series receives more standard equipment 20-way adjustable seats with active head restraints, heated front seats, power-folding rearview mirrors and an auxiliary audio input that is suitable for an iPod or MP3 player.
